There are irregularities in many cases of taking the ration given every month under the Food Security Scheme. Meanwhile, cases of fraudulently obtaining ration have also been found in Rajasthan, due to which the Logistics Department has planned to take strict action.

Logistics department launched this campaign
With the aim of alerting those who take ration fraudulently, the Logistics Department of Rajasthan has started the Giveup campaign. It is clearly being said that those who are taking ration wrongly can voluntarily get their names removed. This campaign will continue till January 31, under which about one thousand people have given up their eligibility so far.
Recovery will be done accordingly
According to the Logistics Department of Rajasthan, if someone is taking ration fraudulently then he can get his name removed under the Giveup campaign. From those who do not do so, the logistics department will charge Rs 27 per kg. If a person gives up, no recovery will be made from him.

This is how fraudsters will be identified
Food Security is continuously conducting KYC to collect data of ration card holders. Under this, the ration card of the beneficiaries is being linked to the Aadhar card. Apart from this, Aadhar card and PAN card are already linked. In such a situation, the information about the benefits received by a ration card holder can be easily tracked. With this, ineligible consumers can be caught quickly and recovery will be made from them.
